A town in New Haven, California, lives a community of hunters. To everyone else, they think that is a cult that has moved into their seaside county. But what they don't know is that the world crawls with evil creatures that like to hurt the human race. The monster population is at it's highest right now because of the demons are trying to close purgatory. Once a monster dies, a few weeks later they pop back up in a different place around the world and the hunt starts all over again.
With the help of angels and demons alike, they ask the help of the hunters to find the doors to open them back up and make sure all the monsters stay down there.
In this alternate universe, Dean has been married to Serenity for the past three years, who owns Half Moon Community after she inherited it from her parents, while Sam finally found somewhere to call home, in New Haven. With all the hunters living in one community, barred by angels and demons, they finally have someone to relax....while they still can.
